About Me
Hi, I’m Deep Kaur, a qualified Integrative Counsellor. I draw on Jungian, Psychodynamic, and Person-Centred approaches to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and your own unique experiences from the journey of life.
I also draw on Eastern psychological systems such as a focus practice of the mind - Simran, which go beyond the mind to support your growth through the mind-body connection, an essential part of complete healing. Gurmat philosophy sees each person as a unique integration of body, mind, and consciousness, placing this holistic understanding at the heart of personal well-being and transformation.
Becoming a counsellor is deeply personal to me. As a child of immigrant parents, I have experienced loss and change, which inspired me to help others feel seen, heard, and supported in their own journeys.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work in private practice and volunteer in the community, including supporting bereaved clients at my local hospice and offering counselling to the Punjabi diaspora in our beautiful language.
I regularly engage in training and continued professional development to deepen my knowledge and ensure my practice remains current, compassionate, and effective. I also work with a supervisor to ensure my practice consistently aligns with the BACP Ethical Framework.
